Oh how I like the sound of silence in my home sometimes. My husband took the baby for a walk in the stoller.
There is no limit to the things you can do with a baby these days, but many of them cost money. I don’t know if my daughter is missing out on mommy and me, or Kindermusik classses but we can’t afford them, so she doesn’t get to go. I can only hope she will learn the things she is supposed to learn without them, and that she isn’t missing out on too much. Don’t get me wrong, if finances permitted I would have loved to take her.
These are some of the things we do for free.
I take her out for a stroll (long or short).
I meet up with other moms and their babies (if we have coffee it costs a few bucks).
I take her to the park; she loves the swings (we do this with other mommies and babies too).
Many museums host baby geared activities, some of them are free, or they may offer a free day. There’s a museum in the LA area that has a Noah’s Ark exhibit where little ones can play; one day a week admission is free.
My daughter loves all of the above.
