This is an exercise that I would like to do, and I hope that some of you will do it with me. People say when you visualize something it’s easier to achieve it. Well, this is sort of the idea. Where do you see your blog?
Why do you blog? I blog because I want to connect with others who are experiencing similar things; I blog because I want to share my thoughts, ideas, new things I have learned, observed, etc. with others. I also blog because I want my blog to become a place where other moms come to gather information, to be entertained, to find interesting reading material, and even to learn something from each other. I want my blog to be a resource to others.
No matter how big or small your goal, I think it’s a good idea to put it out there in the open, so that you, yourself, can grasp it. You may not know what you have in mind until you get it down “on paper”. I see this as an important exercise for myself, so I’m posting my own goals for this blog in order to a) realize them b) achieve them. Use this as a way to map out your goals, because you have to create a map to someplace in order to get there.
Even if your goal seems unrealistic at first, there is nothing wrong with wanting to achieve it. I believe that “Whatever you think you can, or think you can’t, you are right.” I would like my blog to be popular, to be discovered and spoken about as a hub of information for moms on the web.
So, where do you see your blog? Why do you blog? To participate please post the above image in your post and write about your own blogging goals– then please let me know you did this, because I want to read everyone else’s goals!
